Kirkwood, GA – 1931-2016

Kirkwood is a nationally designated historic neighborhood on the east side of Atlanta, Georgia, United States. It is an historic streetcar suburb situated entirely in DeKalb County, bordered by the neighborhoods of Lake Claire, East Lake, Edgewood, and Oakhurst.

Known for its Craftsman-style homes and tree-lined streets, Kirkwood combines historic character with active community spaces. Trails and wildlife viewing can be found in the Kirkwood Urban Forest Reserve, while the nearby Pullman Yards has emerged as a growing hub for arts, events, and dining.
